I am a free software activist, hacker, amateur radio enthusiast (TB3AAE) and father of Alef.
My first encounter with computers was with the Commodore 64 in 1989, and I started software programming with the BASIC programming language. I sold my first professional software in 1993. So far, I have developed production projects in programming languages such as C, C++, PHP, Visual Basic, Go, Rust, Python, Solidity, and Dart. I also developed web and mobile interfaces with frameworks such as Vue, Angular, and Flutter.
Making electronic circuits and mechatronics is my passion and hobby, with completed commercial products. I have been using GNU/Linux exclusively since 1996.
I am a co-founder and active member of the Free Software Association (Özgür Yazılım Derneği - OYD) and a co-founder of hackerspace.ist, one of Turkey's first independent community hackerspaces. I also serve as an instructor at the Linux Users Association (LKD) Summer Software Camp.
Under the OYD umbrella, I architected and built the low-latency live streaming and WebRTC conference publishing pipeline for ÖzgürKon 2026.
